Dominic Rizzi, OGEA President, State Council Delegate

I've been an educator in Oak Grove School District for eight years and am currently a science teacher at Caroline Davis Intermediate on full-time release as OGEA President. At San Jose State University, I earned my bachelor's degree in natural sciences in preparation for teaching before completing my teaching credential.

Having attended Hayes Elementary and Caroline Davis Intermediate, I am proud to serve and represent all of our educators and honored to give back to the district that helped make me who I am.

Maripaz Berlin, OGEA Vice President, Grievance Chair & State Council Delegate

As a proud member of OGEA, I am honored to be the elected Vice President and appointed Grievance Chair. In my role as VP, I support President Dominic Rizzi in any and all duties and responsibilities that support the growth and strength of our union. As Grievance Chair, I enforce and defend our rights as educators.

I teach first and second grade at the Indigo Program, but outside of the classroom, I also serve as Women's Advocacy Coordinator on the Equity Squad for our Santa Clara County Service Council and as one of your State Council Delegates.

Shelley McCracken, OGEA Secretary

I serve as OGEA's Parliamentarian, as well as a member of the Membership Engagement Committee. During summer, I teach upper-grade math in various districts.

I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art Studio & Minor in Education from U.C. Davis and earned my Vietnamese BCLAD credential and Masters in Education from San Jose State University.
