Hello Site Reps and OGEA Membership,
With the closing of our negotiations we have some next steps we'd like to tie up and get on your calendars.
We are calling for an emergency Rep Council meeting, Wednesday October 5th, 4:30 @ the OGEA Office (4810 Harwood Rd) to review the Tentative Agreements as well as discuss our Benefits Plans with you so that you can go to your sites and share the information for feedback.
In addition, a voluntary General Membership meeting will be held on Wednesday October 12th, 4:30 @ the OGEA Office (4810 Harwood Rd) to ask questions about the tentative agreements to your Bargaining Chair, Bob Prola and President, Dominic Rizzi.
Voting for Ratification will take place the week of Monday October 10th through Friday October 14th via electronic voting form. More information on voting will be available soon.
Please put these dates on your calendar and share with your staff. A flyer with the same information will be ponied to your sites to be posted in your staff common area. I understand some sites may still be scheduling conferences, please attend if you can, or send proxy on your behalf that will be able to bring information back to your school sites. No voting will be taking place at these meetings.
